The candidate will develop drill targets, generate 3D geological models, and lead a team while maintaining high HSE standards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology; master’s preferred.
• Strong mapping skills are essential.
• +10 years’ mining geology experience preferred, epithermal experience a plus.
• Drill management and target generation experience highly desired.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Authorized to work in the US with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Field mapping and sampling.
• Data collection and geochemical analysis.
• Lead exploration projects and author geological reports.
• Collaborate on project management and strategic planning.
• Lead team meetings and provide field progress updates to management.
• Analyze and interpret complex geological data.
• Develop drill targets and implement drill programs.
• Lead field mapping and interpretation of structures for exploration targets.
• Create a 3D geological-structural-alteration district model.
• Ensure on-site health, safety and environmental standards are met.
