Job summary

Varantec, Inc. in Chantilly, VA, seeks a GEOINT Systems Engineer to provide SETA support and lead system analyses for ground and space mission integration, ensuring compliance with government requirements and end-to-end lifecycle performance.

You will collaborate with Government, contractors, and mission partners, deliver technical documentation, and guide acquisition decisions, with a focus on security, availability, and mission success.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• STEM degree with 10+ (bachelor) / 7+ (master) years experience.
• Experience as SE/SETA or acquisition expert.
• Experience with IC/DoD spacecraft systems.
• Expertise in GEOINT analysis and agile processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration across levels.
• Proven ability to deliver across the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Office and COTRs to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with Government, SETA, contractors and partners to integrate GEOINT missions.
• Support studies, reviews, evaluate architectures, identify issues, propose solutions.
• AdviseGovernment managers on acquisition decisions.
• Develop verification/test approaches and review data.
• Create and manage technical documentation and presentations.
• Develop concise technical analyses and positions in documents.
• Ensure system meets security, performance and availability requirements.
• Assist in evaluating contractor performance and project success.
• Drive continuous GEOINT ground system improvements.
• Improve system engineering processes and procedures.
