Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Geospatial Analyst Expert to support GEOINT requirements for our government customer. The role requires deep GIS expertise, data integration skills, and leadership in analytic workflows. Fort Gordon, GA on-site position with Top Secret/SCI clearance is expected.

Responsibilities include developing geospatial products, maintaining databases, and creating automated workflows using Python, R, or Java. USA-based deployment and security compliance are required.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in a technical field such as Geomatics/Geospatial Sciences or related, with 10 years of relevant experience, OR BA/BS with 15 years’ experience.
• Active TS/SCI with SSBI.
• Expert in Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced geospatial analysis using GIS tools to support intelligence and mission requirements.
• Manage spatial relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL/PostGIS) ensuring data integrity.
• Develop geographically derived assessments and enterprise data integration to support decision‑making.
• Enforce spatial data governance and metadata standards across datasets and workflows.
• Produce high-quality geospatial visuals, cartography, and written analytic reports.
