Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Senior Geochemist to provide technical leadership in mining geochemistry and biogeochemistry. Preference for Bozeman, MT, with offices in Denver, Reno, and Rapid City; opportunities nationwide across North America.

You will lead projects, mentor staff, interpret complex geochemical data, and deliver high-quality analyses for mining clients. Strong modeling, communication, and business development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Geochemistry or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years in mining geochemistry or environmental consulting.
• Experience managing technical consulting projects and client relationships.
• Excellent technical writing, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• PG/P.Geo registration or ability to obtain; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mining geochemistry and biogeochemistry projects.
• Lead complex studies, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across offices.
• Oversee geochemical characterization, modeling, and field/lab testing programs.
• Interpret datasets and deliver high-quality technical deliverables.
• Identify opportunities, contribute to proposals, and engage with clients.
