Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant based in Birmingham, UK, to lead ground risk and remediation work across energy, transport and property sectors. You will deliver desk studies, fieldwork, risk assessments and design through to construction, mentoring juniors and supporting business growth.

You will manage client relationships, budgets and deadlines, delivering clear technical outputs for regulators and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in geo-environmental consultancy and contaminated land risk assessment.
• Ability to deliver robust outputs for clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead geo-environmental projects from planning to delivery, managing scope, budget and schedule.
• Engage with clients, regulators and contractors to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
• Oversee data acquisition, fieldwork oversight and supervision of sub-consultants.
• Prepare and review technical reports and remediation strategies to high standards.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to proposals and business growth.
