Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to support Utah's GenTax platform on a Contractor basis. You will design, enhance, and maintain GenTax COTS solutions, with focus on Motor Vehicle Title and Registration, Tax Processing, and Property Tax modules, using SQL, C#, and API services.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and help drive development

Qualifications

• 5+ years GenTax development experience with SQL and C# in Visual Studio.
• Experience consuming, updating, and creating API services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong ability to gather requirements and translate into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize GenTax apps using C#, SQL, and Visual Studio.
• Create advanced SQL queries and SOAP/RESTful API services for integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor developers while upholding standards.
