Qualifications

• PhD/MS with substantial experience in human genetics, statistical genetics, computational biology or bioinformatics.
• Experience analyzing whole exome/genome sequencing data including QC, annotation and association testing.
• Strong understanding of genetics, statistics, and genomic data integration.
• Experience with Python or R in Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiarity with workflow management and reproducible research practices.
• Excellent scientific communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret exome/genome sequencing data to identify variants, genes and pathways linked to CVMD.
• Develop and apply statistical genetics and bioinformatics methods for analyses.
• Support target discovery and patient stratification using human genetic evidence.
• Integrate genetics results with transcriptomics, proteomics and other data to derive insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analyses and translate results into recommendations.
• Develop reproducible analytical workflows and contribute to best practices.
