Job summary

Granite Solutions Groupe seeks a Senior Consultant, Investment Technology to design and develop RSL within SS&C Advent Geneva for hedge fund accounting and reporting.

You will work with distributed teams across the U.S., Dublin, and India, optimize performance, and leverage AI-assisted tools to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SS&C Advent Geneva.
• Deep expertise developing in Geneva RSL (Report Specification Language).
• Strong SQL skills and production RSL troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Geneva reporting and interfaces.
• Ability to work independently in a complex production environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RSL code within SS&C Advent Geneva.
• Develop efficient, production-quality RSL for complex reporting and business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize existing RSL code to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability.
• Support Geneva reporting, interfaces, integrations, and downstream data requirements.
• Work with Geneva data structures to troubleshoot reporting and processing issues.
• Support data reconciliation and investigate discrepancies across Geneva and downstream systems.
• Contribute to Geneva conversion and enhancement initiatives, including functionality supporting complex funds, share classes, and currencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal handholding.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Geneva/RSL solutions.
• Support Geneva upgrades and associated development and testing activities.
• Work effectively with distributed teams across the U.S., Dublin, and India.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Windsurf, Codex, or comparable technologies to improve development efficiency and productivity.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geneva RSL Developer / Geneva RSL SME to support a large financial services environment utilizing SS&C Advent Geneva for hedge fund accounting, reporting, interfaces, data, reconciliation, and production support.

This is a highly specialized opportunity for a consultant with deep, hands-on RSL development expertise. The ideal candidate is not simply a Geneva user or functional consultant - they must understand how Geneva RSL works, be able to develop efficient RSL code independently, and have the technical depth to troubleshoot and optimize complex Geneva functionality.

The consultant will support a significant Geneva conversion initiative involving funds with multiple share classes and currencies, requiring meaningful development and changes across reports and interfaces.
