Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Genesys Cloud CX Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise contact center solutions. You will own complex technical challenges, drive platform improvements, and lead automation initiatives to reduce operational risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years engineering enterprise contact center or telecom solutions with 5+ years in Genesys Cloud CX.
• Strong proficiency with Genesys Cloud CX, Architect, APIs, REST/JSON, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and engineer enterprise contact center solutions using Genesys Cloud CX and Architect.
• Maintain and optimize inbound/outbound call flows, IVR routing, queues, skills, routing, and wrap-up codes.
• Configure telephony systems, trunks, sites, and integrations with recording/workforce management.
• Build and support secure integrations via Genesys Cloud Platform APIs, OAuth, REST, and Data Actions.
• Provide advanced Tier 3 engineering support and root-cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Develop proactive monitoring and alerting to identify issues before they impact operations.
• Apply least-privilege governance to Genesys roles, permissions, OAuth clients, and integrations.
