Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte invites a Generator Advanced Planner to join our factory. You will engage with multiple units to forecast demand, manage inventory, and plan capacity, ensuring timely production and smooth operations.

You will collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Management and Manufacturing to track milestones, develop proposals, and optimize resource loading. A BS in a related field and 8+ years of industry experience, plus strong SAP, MS Project and Excel

Qualifications

BS degree in related field with manufacturing focus, plus 8+ years of experience.
Strong SAP background is essential.
Proficiency in MS Project and Excel; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
Forecasting experience and knowledge of generator components are advantageous.
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation abilities; strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Global Load Planning and Service Marketing to estimate available manufacturing slots.
Work with Bid Management to develop proposals and lead-time/scheduling estimates.
Partner with Manufacturing on resource leveling and takt execution for bottleneck analysis and optimization.
Produce and maintain Regular Production Schedules with accurate loading, status and milestones.
Generate manpower estimates and inventory forecasts to support Plant Management and Project Management.
