Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Sr. Consulting Engineer in Power Generation. This role offers remote and hybrid work options with minimal travel. You will serve as a principal resource on generator design, exciters, and auxiliaries for power projects.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering and 8–10+ years in generator design, manufacturing, or service. PE licensure is preferred and travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 8–10+ years of experience in generator design, manufacturing, or service-related roles.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering calculations, assessments, and analyses.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–15% to support projects and business development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for power plant consulting projects focusing on generators, exciters and auxiliaries.
• Interpret objectives and develop actionable plans to meet schedule and hour targets.
• Prepare for client meetings and lead discussions, demonstrating technical expertise.
• Execute projects independently and assist management with opportunities, conferences and training.
• Interface with industry organizations such as EPRI and engage in field project execution as needed.
