Job summary

Citi is seeking a Generative AI Engineer (AVP) in Irving, TX. This hands-on role focuses on building scalable production components for an enterprise multi-agent AI platform that supports the software delivery lifecycle.

You will ship production systems with strong CS foundations, advanced Python, and experience in LLM application development, RAG pipelines, and tooling like Docker, Kubernetes, and ADK integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms and complexity.
• Hands-on experience with LLM application development and multi-agent frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases and embedding-based retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production AI agents covering product analysis, requirements capture, UI prototyping, backlog generation, and automated code implementation with pull request creation.
• Implement multi-agent workflows with ADK, including sub-agent orchestration and A2A messaging.
• Integrate Gemini and Claude into pipelines via enterprise gateways and structured tool calls.
• Connect agents to enterprise systems (JIRA, GitHub) using MCP interfaces.
• Build RAG pipelines with vector search and embeddings to ground responses.
• Develop evaluation harnesses to measure faithfulness and task completion.
• Write async Python and FastAPI services with PostgreSQL state.
• Ensure CI/CD, containerization, secure coding, and testing.
