Job summary

Fourways Consulting in San Ramon, CA seeks an AI Engineer / Generative AI Developer to lead enterprise AI initiatives onsite (4 days/week). You will architect and scale AI copilots, multi-agent workflows, and cloud-native deployments using Azure OpenAI, LangChain, and AutoGen.

Deep experience with Python and 12+ years in software engineering is required. You will own RAG pipelines, vector DBs, and AI security governance while collaborating with engineering, product, and data science teams to

Qualifications

12+ years of professional software development experience
Expert-level proficiency in Python
Hands-on Generative AI and agentic AI systems
Experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases
Cloud deployment on Azure OpenAI and related services

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade generative AI copilots and assistants
Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and vector DBs
Build autonomous multi-agent systems and conversational workflows using AutoGen, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel
Integrate Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, and Microsoft Graph API into production
Implement AI security, governance, guardrails, and compliance monitoring
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized testing workflows for AI apps
Conduct prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and latency profiling across distributed LLMs
Collaborate with cross-functional software, product, and data science teams
