Job summary

Corevia Staffing seeks an experienced AI Engineer specializing in Generative AI and Agentic AI to drive cutting-edge AI initiatives on a W2 contract across hybrid sites in Atlanta, GA, Hartford, CT, or St. Paul, MN.

You will prototype advanced AI systems, build RAG pipelines, and architect multi-agent workflows while collaborating with data science and software teams to deploy production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or STEM or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of IT and technical experience in software or systems engineering.
• Proven AI/ML, Generative AI, or advanced analytics delivery experience.
• Strong ML fundamentals, statistics, and model evaluation knowledge.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompts, fine-tuning, and multimodal AI architectures.
• Experience designing RAG systems, vector databases, and tool integrations.
• Familiarity with LangChain, Strands, CrewAI, or equivalent frameworks.
• Proficient in Python, ReactJS, NodeJS; CI/CD tooling like Jenkins & GitHub Copilot.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• W2 contract availability in hybrid locations (Atlanta, GA / Hartford, CT / St. Paul, MN).

Responsibilities

• Develop, prototype, and deploy advanced AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Work with LLMs, foundation models, and modern AI frameworks.
• Build RAG memory systems, tool use, and function calling.
• Design, test, and support multi-agent workflows and autonomous AI capabilities.
• Develop rapid AI proofs-of-concept and evaluate model performance metrics.
• Utilize LangChain, Strands, CrewAI or similar agentic frameworks.
• Support MLOps, AIOps and CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and GitHub.
• Integrate and manage vector databases, embedding pipelines, and AI apps.
• Collaborate with data science, software engineering, and business teams.
• Apply responsible AI governance, ethics, and bias mitigation practices.
