Eleks is seeking a Senior General Test Engineer to join the AI-first incident management team. You will own quality across the product, drive automation from API to frontend, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios.

In a greenfield environment, you’ll design and maintain automation frameworks, leverage AI for test design and generation, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Strong ownership and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience, including both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with AI/LLM tools in test automation and QA workflows.
• Ability to use AI for test design, test case generation, automation code generation, refactoring, debugging, and maintenance.
• Experience with API and end-to-end test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API/backend testing.
• Experience defining quality strategy and QA processes in greenfield environments.
• Experience collaborating with engineers and product stakeholders to define feature specifications, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
• Ability to extend automation coverage to frontend applications.
• Understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, test data management.
• Experience developing and maintaining end-to-end automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD.
• Senior-level ownership of product quality, not just automation.
• Self-directed, proactive, and capable in greenfield with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications as well as product functionality to convert them into quality control process artefacts.
• Prepare and acquire test data
• Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts
• Log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
• Use automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management tools
• Provide automation test environment setup
• Review test artefacts developed by others
• Contribute to automation process control definition and improvement

The Customer is building a safety network that connects consumers, enterprises, monitoring centers, first responders, and emergency services. This is a platform for transmitting critical data.

We are looking for a Senior General Test Engineer to join the AI-first incident management team. Strong ownership, proactive communication, and AI fluencyare essential for success in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of software testing experience, including both manual and automated testing

• Practical experience using AI/LLM tools in test automation and QA workflows
• Ability to use AI for test design, test case generation, automation code generation, refactoring, debugging, and maintenance
• Familiarity with AI agents, skills/tools, MCP, hooks, and agentic automation workflows is a plus

Strong experience in API and end-to-end test automation using Playwright and TypeScript

Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API/backend testing

Proven experience defining quality strategy and establishing QA processes, testing standards, and test management practices in greenfield environments

Experience collaborating with engineers and product stakeholders to define feature specifications, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios

• Ability to extend automation coverage from backend services to frontend applications
• Strong understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, and test data management
• Experience developing and maintaining end-to-end automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Senior-level quality engineering mindset with ownership of overall product quality, not just test automation
• Highly self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in a greenfield environment with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
