Job summary

Hanover Iron Works Inc is seeking a skilled General Superintendent to lead our team in Baltimore, MD. You'll oversee safety and compliance while guiding various installation projects involving stairs and miscellaneous metals. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the field, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work with contractors and teams to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities include safety training, project monitoring, and labor forecasting. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel regionally for job site visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in miscellaneous metals installation.
• Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 and welding processes.
• Current OSHA 30 Certificate preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability for regional travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety behavior through meetings and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies during field operations.
• Coordinate labor schedule and delivery of materials.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Forecast labor needs and assist with staffing.
