Job summary

MPI, an Ohio-based General Contractor, seeks a seasoned construction professional for large-scale ground-up projects in healthcare and commercial sectors. The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong document review, and leadership across teams.

You will coordinate field activities, review drawings, manage RFIs, and ensure safety and quality on site. Competitive salary, bonuses, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills across management, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of all construction substrates in conjunction with the main office.
• Arrange, monitor and be present for agency inspections.
• Read and comprehend architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape drawings and specifications.
• Review shop drawings and other reports prepared by testing and inspection agency. Prepare and monitor RFIs.
• Prepare daily report forms and progress photographs.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly job site; and enforce job site safety standards.
• Actively engage design professionals, subcontractors, project managers, and local officials to problem solve, mitigate conflicts, and resolve disputes.
