Job summary

Victra - Verizon Authorized Retailer is seeking a Senior General Manager in Reno to shape the guest experience and drive store performance. You will coach your team to surpass sales targets while maintaining operational excellence and participate in ongoing training and leadership calls.

You will develop the Assistant General Manager and lead day-to-day store operations, balancing priorities in a competitive retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving team and individual sales goals.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and developing a high-performing team.
• Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of the store staff and communicate company vision.
• Lead and mentor the Assistant General Manager.
• Drive high-performance results in a fast-paced sales environment.

You will have a high level of accountability for all retail store functions and for communicating and implementing the company vision by directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. You will be driving for high-performance results within a fast-paced sales environment, focusing on optimizing customer and employee, and acting as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager. You will also complete training courses and attend weekly sales leadership calls. You will drive our business forward by always motivating your team to do their best in every guest interaction. This is an hourly role.

Compensation

Pay will include a base rate of $$20.00 /hour with uncapped earning potential through commission

What We Are Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving team and individual sales goals.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and developing a high-performing team.
• Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of customer service, preferably in retail or sales.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak periods.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift ten pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Training Requirements

• Attend and successfully complete required training programs (may include overnight travel at company expense).
• Complete ongoing online and computer-based training throughout employment.
