Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior General Maintenance Worker for an on-site role with a large pharmaceutical manufacturer. The position offers varying shifts and requires flexibility, with a pay range of $9.00–$31.00 per hour and full-time employment.

As a Senior General Maintenance Worker, you will solve problems, promote safety, and apply technical skills to meet maintenance needs while contributing to a safe work environment. You may train apprentices and support other workers as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for relevant work in the city and state where the work will be done.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• May train and coordinate work activities of General Maintenance Apprentices and General Maintenance Workers
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
