Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior General Maintenance Worker at Ohio Northern University. This full-time role requires weekday shifts on the Ohio campus, focusing on maintenance tasks across plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and more.

You will train apprentices and ensure safety while serving the campus community. Typical duties include light maintenance, equipment servicing, and coordinating tasks with team members.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the work to be done in the city/state.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting/plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Change light bulbs, install paper dispenser units, change filters, and lock changes; minor decorative maintenance as needed.
• May train and coordinate work activities of General Maintenance Apprentices and General Maintenance Workers.
• Attend scheduled shift on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.
