Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or related field.
• Five+ years of technical claim handling experience.
• Appropriate state Adjuster license(s) where required by law.
• Advanced knowledge of casualty claims (general liability, subrogation, litigation).
• Professional designations such as CPCU/AIC/AEI/SCLA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct and coordinate loss investigations on assigned claims.
• Negotiate settlements within authorized amounts.
• Maintain accountability for all assigned claims to disposition.
• Document activity and manage vendor relationships.
• Review losses to ensure reserve adequacy and inform management.
• Provide timely information to customers on claim status.
• Draft coverage correspondence and reserve rights as needed.
