Job summary

Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. seeks an experienced claims professional to manage complex General Liability and Commercial Auto claims, determine coverage, set reserves, and coordinate with counsel, vendors, and Loss Recovery Services.

You will lead investigations, negotiate settlements, and ensure timely, compliant claim handling across diverse cases. The role requires strong communication, independence, and attention to detail, with a focus on fair, ethical decision-making and adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
• Completion of INS, AIC, or CPCU is preferred.
• Additional training in insurance, medical, and/or building terminology knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform claim tasks timely and document claim files appropriately.
• Make complex coverage decisions by gathering information necessary to make an informed decision.
• Perform a thorough investigation and evaluate exposure and damages for liability and compensability.
