Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Arizona.
• 8+ years of defense litigation experience.
• Experience defending Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Transportation and other civil matters preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Client-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Legal project management experience is helpful.
• First chair trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, handling cases from start to finish.

Position Summary

Wilson Elser's Phoenix office is currently seeking a Senior General Liability Attorney with experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 8+ years of litigation experience to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in‑house counsel, the attorney in this role will have the exciting opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients that we represent, as well as with teams of our own talented, experienced professionals.
