Job summary

Masimo Corporation in Irvine, CA seeks a General Accountant to handle general accounting tasks for multiple units and provide support to AP/AR functions as needed. The role includes assisting senior accountants and the Controller with GL activities.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and analyses for audits and tax. A US multinational environment and English fluency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in GL function
• Accounting degree or commercial diploma
• Experience in a US company and multinational environment preferred
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Pro-active, hands on mentality, motivated, team player
• At ease with the usual software tools (MS Office, accounting packages)

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger processing and month-end close support
• Analyze expenses and prepare journals for bank, payroll, and other items
• Month-end close process for the assigned entities
• Bank reconciliations for several entities
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and provide analyses for audits and tax
• Support SOX and audits review and VAT filings as needed
• Maintain filing system and provide backups to GL/AP/AR teams
