Job summary

Astrion seeks a Journeyman General/Interdisciplinary Engineer to join our team at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA. The role supports the AFLCMC/ES mission, delivering systems engineering across acquisition phases with a Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Salary ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, with full-time status and limited travel. Responsibilities include architecture, systems analysis, and documentation for critical DoD programs, leveraging MBSE concepts and MBSE-like methodologies

Qualifications

Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance.
US citizen status is required to access DoD systems.
ABET‑accredited degree in engineering or related field is preferred; alternate: 10 years of DoD experience with 3 years in related roles.

Responsibilities

Design and architect systems and assets across the DoD lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, and deployment.
Produce engineering documentation, analyses, and reports (AoA, SEP) for technical reviews and milestones.
Conduct systems architectural analyses and maintain interoperability requirements across the baselined system.
Translate user needs into system requirements using USAF and DoD approved methods.
Support acquisition and sustainment activities, including reviews, cost/schedule/technical performance assessments.
