hth companies, inc is seeking a General Foreman through the Veteran Career Program to oversee and coordinate day-to-day field operations on industrial projects across the Midwest.

The role provides direct leadership to field crews handling insulation, scaffolding, cleaning, mechanical work, and painting/coating, with a focus on safety, quality, and meeting production goals. Strong supervision and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading field crews in industrial insulation, scaffolding, cleaning, mechanical work, or painting/coating.
  • Strong communication, safety leadership, and ability to plan labor and materials.
  • Ability to read project scopes, schedules, drawings, and client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities involving one or more of the trades: insulation, scaffolding, cleaning, mechanical work, painting/coating.
  • Lead field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project requirements.
  • Plan daily/weekly labor, material, equipment, and tool needs for project execution.
  • Monitor crew productivity and adjust work assignments or methods to improve performance.
  • Ensure crews maintain quality workmanship and comply with standards and client requirements.
  • Enforce jobsite safety requirements in line with OSHA and company programs.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and professional work environment.
  • Conduct or participate in daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses.
  • Communicate progress, manpower, scheduling, and site needs with Superintendents and Project Managers.
