Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of legal experience in a large financial institution.
• In-house counsel experience preferred, ideally within a credit union.
• Ability to manage legal risk in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as legal advisor to the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Provide legal oversight of litigation and investigations.
• Negotiate and oversee complex contracts and vendor agreements.
• Lead legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
• Mentor and develop the legal team.
