Qualifications

• 3+ years of directly relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting function and assignments.
• Ability to independently gather, organize, and perform accounting-related analysis.
• Proven ability to present information verbally and in writing.
• Thorough knowledge of financial transactions and related policy, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with common desktop/web applications.
• Analytical procedures used in accounting projects of moderate to semi-complex scope.

Responsibilities

• Perform ledger verification and ensure transactions are properly classified.
• Create and process all journal entries for the Dean’s Office using PeopleSoft.
• Monitor procurement and expense payments for the Dean’s Office.
• Support fiscal year closing activities.
• Provide financial administrative support to the Accounting and Operations Manager.
