Job summary

Mark VII - Clean Cars® in Arvada, CO is seeking a Senior General Accountant to support monthly and quarterly closes, budgeting, forecasts and compliance. You will own the close calendar, post journal entries, manage intercompany reconciliations, and analyze P&L with variance explanations.

The role also handles vendor payments, tax filings, annual audit support, fixed asset management, and license/property tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 2-4 years related experience and/or training; equivalent combo accepted.
• Experience with month-end close and general ledger reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Post month-end journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Perform monthly P&L analysis with variance explanations.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and intercompany items.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation and disposals.
• Process weekly vendor payments and related tax filings.
• Support annual audit and license filings.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
