Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 per year (Exempt)
About the Role
Lead the accounting department, overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and the full month‑year‑end close process. Produce precise monthly financial reports, monitor and analyze accounting data, and adhere to company accounting methods and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department (AR, AP, GL).
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing monthly financial reports.
- Following WashTec’s accounting methods and policies.
- Managing month‑end and year‑end processes.
- Overseeing accounts payable/receivable.
- Handling cash receipts.
- Maintaining the general ledger.
- Managing payroll and utilities accruals.
- Cash flow management.
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis by department.
- Fixed assets management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
- Experience with SAP required.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and database tools.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct and supervise staff.
- BS degree in accounting or finance.
