Job summary

You will mentor engineers, guide architecture, and influence cross-functional teams while delivering high-impact improvements to LLM-driven products such as AI Mode and AI Overviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 7 years leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure.
• 5 years of design and architecture; testing/launching software products.
• 2 years of experience with state of the art GenAI techniques or related concepts.

Responsibilities

• Advocate modeling, tuning, and optimization techniques to support LLM performance.
• Guide user-signal-driven improvements of LLMs to address loss patterns and response quality.
• Partner with Google Research and DeepMind to advance LLM technologies and integrate them into products.
• Demonstrate teamwork, sharing expertise in system design and ML modeling.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to define and execute LLM initiatives.
