Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking an accomplished GenAI Research and Solution contributor to design, fine-tune and deploy language-model solutions end-to-end. You will build RAG pipelines, distill models for insurance tasks, and partner with engineers to run on Kubernetes and other platforms.

This hybrid role favors candidates near Plano, TX, with two days in-office weekly; remote options with travel are possible for others. Strong research background and ML tooling experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise with transformer-based language models and fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA).
• Experience building GenAI pipelines including retrieval and embedding strategies.
• Strong Python and MLOps practices; version control and experiment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design, fine-tune and deploy language-model solutions from research to prod.
• Distill and tune models for domain insurance tasks balancing accuracy and latency.
• Build GenAI pipelines (RAG, agentic orchestration) and data/document pipelines.
