Job summary

CVS Health is building a world of health around every individual with a senior backend engineer focusing on GenAI platform services. You will design and implement core services, including authentication, cost governance, observability, and routing policies, to enable fast and safe AI tooling across the enterprise.

The role requires strong production experience in Python/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms, and AI provider integrations, with a focus on scalable, compliant systems for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building production backend services in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• 2+ years designing RESTful APIs or microservices.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, MongoDB in production.
• OAuth2/OIDC or JWT auth systems.
• Observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Docker-based apps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Git and code-review processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core platform services (auth, quota/cost, observability, routing).
• Develop LLM/GenAI tooling and infrastructure with安全 compliance in mind.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to shape the GenAI platform roadmap.
• Ensure scalable, reliable backend services for enterprise use.
