Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join our Fixed Income Credit Complex team. This production engineering role designs, builds, deploys, and operates GenAI/LLM systems in an enterprise-grade workflow platform for document intelligence, embedded productivity assistants, and automated business workflows across Institutional Securities.

This role is production-focused—not a research or prototype position.

Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on engineer with GenAI/LLM production experience.
• Designs, builds, deploys GenAI/LLM systems in production.
• Focus on architecture decisions, evaluation strategies, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve reusable GenAI workflow primitives and services across Institutional Securities.
• Build AI-powered assistants embedded into core applications using agentic workflows.
• Define GenAI architecture decisions, model selection, orchestration, evaluation.
• Establish and enhance LLMOps practices including monitoring and testing.
• Design data security, entitlements, and PII controls in regulated environments.
• Develop AI-first document ingestion and extraction pipelines with quality measures.
• Build retrieval systems with vector search, filtering, multi-stage retrieval, and re-ranking.
• Diagnose production systems affected by model regressions and data quality issues.
• Partner with business, engineering, data, and platform teams to adopt GenAI capabilities.
• Help establish enterprise standards for production GenAI engineering.
