Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Senior Generative AI Data Scientist to lead GenAI and AI Agents initiatives for NAMER enterprise customers.

You will translate business challenges into data science-driven solutions using AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and related ML services. You will work with senior engineers, data scientists, and executives to design, deploy LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows, evaluate models, and guide adoption patterns, ensuring production-ready GenAI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python).
• 4+ years of data scientist experience.
• Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression.
• Master's degree or above in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of end-to-end technical architecture, design, deployment for GenAI/ML platforms.
• 3+ years working with LLMs and related technologies.
• Experience in design/implementation/consulting for ML/AI/Deep Learning solutions.
• Experience across software development, cloud computing, security, networking, data & analytics.

Responsibilities

• Understand NAMER Enterprise customer needs; design AWS cloud-based AI/ML solutions.
• Implement and deploy state-of-the-art ML/GenAI solutions; build PoCs.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, SAs, Sales, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate adoption.
• Evangelize AWS GenAI services; share best practices via blogs, whitepapers, events.
• Act as technical liaison for customer feedback to Bedrock and other services.
• Develop internal GenAI community materials; enable field population on GenAI solutions.
