Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Generative AI Data Scientist to design and deploy GenAI/ML solutions for NAMER enterprise customers. You will translate business challenges into data science-drivenGenAI solutions using AWS, build agentic workflows, and lead technical deep dives with executives.

You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to influence decisions and ensure production-ready deployments, while staying current with state-of-the-art GenAI techniques

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data querying languages (SQL) and scripting (Python) experience.
• 4+ years of data scientist experience.
• Master's degree or above in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science.
• 5+ years of end-to-end technical architecture, design, deployment and operations for Generative AI/ML platforms and applications.
• 3+ year experience with technologies related to large language models including LLM architectures and model evaluation.
• Experience in design/implementation/consulting for Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI solutions for NAMER Enterprise customers leveraging AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock).
• Build prototypes, PoCs, and explore new GenAI solutions; interact with enterprise customers to accelerate AI/ML adoption.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, SAs, Sales, and AI/ML Service teams to drive customer adoption and revenue for GenAI use cases.
• Evangelize AWS GenAI services and share best practices via blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and events.
• Serve as technical liaison between customers and Bedrock or service teams to gather feedback for product improvements.
• Develop internal GenAI community materials and enablement resources for the Americas.
