Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Generative AI Data Scientist to lead GenAI strategy for NAMER enterprise customers. You will design data science-driven GenAI solutions using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and agentic workflows.

Role requires deep ML engineering, customer engagement at executive levels, and hands-on development of prototypes, PoCs, and production-ready GenAI applications across AWS services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python) or statistical/mathematical software experience
• 4+ years of data scientist experience
• Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression
• 5+ years of end-to-end technical architecture, design, deployment and operations for Generative AI/ML platforms and applications
• 3+ year experience working with technologies related to large language models including LLM architectures and model evaluation
• Experience in design/implementation/consulting for Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning solutions
• Experience in various technology domains (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)

Responsibilities

• Be the SME for helping NAMER Enterprise customers design and implement Generative AI solutions leveraging Amazon Bedrock
• Translate customer challenges into data science-driven solutions using AWS
• Define, design, and deploy ML models, agentic workflows, and GenAI apps for adoption of AWS AI/ML services
• Engage with senior engineers, data scientists, product leaders, and executives to influence decisions
• Interact with customers to implement generative AI solutions, deliver briefings and deep dive sessions
• Lead prototypes, PoCs, and explore new GenAI solutions with Bedrock, AgentCore, and open source frameworks
