Capital One is seeking an AI Engineer 5 in Cambridge, MA to build responsible AI systems and partner with engineers, researchers, PMs, and product teams. You will design, train, deploy, and evaluate AI components, including foundation models and agentic workflows, across Capital One’s platforms.

You will work with tools like AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch, shaping the technical vision and cost-performance governance for scalable AI solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with AI/ML experience as specified in the posting.
• 6+ years of programming in Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
• Experience with AI/ML algorithms or technologies as described in Basic Qualifications.

• Deliver AI-powered products with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation models and governance.
