Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior AI/ML Applications Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced ML, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions. This role blends deep AI architecture with technical leadership to drive innovation from concept to production, guiding high-performing project teams.

The role advises product and engineering on architecture, monitoring, guardrails, and production deployment across edge and cloud environments, including AWS or comparable clouds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering, AI/ML, or solution architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with generative and agentic AI solutions.
• Experience deploying AI on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable AI/ML solutions for grid automation across edge and cloud deployments.
• Establish standards and guidelines for AI/ML development in the CTO organization.
• Build modular, microservices-based architectures with CI/CD and MLOps pipelines.
• Develop production deployment strategies for edge platforms (GE GridNode) and cloud.
• Advise product teams on model selection, orchestration, and integration of AI use cases.
• Define monitoring, observability, and guardrails for responsible AI deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into platforms and new solutions.
• Keep abreast of AI/ML advancements and translate into practical recommendations.
