Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Five years of gear manufacturing experience with setup and cutting.
• Experience with manual gear-cutting equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor gear-cutting machines to produce high-quality gears.
• Ensure production targets are met per blueprints and work orders.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and material compliance.
• Select fixtures, tools, and settings to optimize efficiency.
• Use job travelers and blueprints to execute precise manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and perform routine equipment upkeep.
• Resolve tooling, setup, or quality issues as they arise.
• Follow all production and quality protocols to promote safety and excellence.
