Zobility in Everett, WA is seeking a highly experienced Gear Machinist to set up and run precision bevel gear production using Gleason equipment. You will inspect parts, interpret drawings, and hand off in-process to final inspection while ensuring aerospace quality and traceability.

The role requires 8+ years of gear machining, including bevel gears, Coniflex bevel gears, and splines, with proficiency in Gleason #14/104 machines and Gleason #13 tester, GD&T, and AS9100 environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of machining experience, including 5+ years on gear machining.
• Experience machining bevel gears, Coniflex gears, and splines.
• Proficient with Gleason equipment and inspection tools.
• Strong GD&T interpretation and aerospace workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run production on Gleason gear generators to spec.
• Perform precision testing and adjust processes as needed.
• Read complex drawings and GD&T requirements for aerospace parts.
• Manage end-to-end gear machining from setup to final inspection handoff.
• Maintain documentation for traceability and quality systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, and other machinists.
