Job summary

Torch Technologies in Colorado Springs seeks a GDA Planner to support USSPACECOM’s Golden Dome for America missile defense. The role blends strategic planning, analytical assessment, and interagency coordination to mitigate national-level impacts from loss of critical systems.

You will advise across MD/SDA/MW domains, develop requirements, and coordinate with Joint Staff, OSD, and program offices to align objectives and guidance. Strong communication and security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in Missile Defense / Space Domain Awareness / Missile Warning, or 10+ years in the field.
• Ability to maintain a DOD TS/SCI clearance or higher.
• Knowledge of MD/SDA/MW systems and CJCSI requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, articulate, and refine MD/SDA/MW requirements for USSPACECOM.
• Coordinate with Joint Staff, OSD, service components, and SPOs.
• Integrate capabilities into long-range plans and guidance.
• Maintain expert knowledge of missile defense, space domain awareness, and C2 systems.
• Provide technical advisory and analysis across mission areas.
• Evaluate network architectures and improve MD/SDA/MW systems.
• Support development, testing, and implementation of C2 structures.
