Job summary

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client, seeks a Senior GCP Data Platform Engineer in Charlotte, NC to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will implement IaC with Terraform and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, and Networking.

You will deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes, enhance CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Cloud Build, and mentor peers on cloud data

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years specializing in GCP architecture.
• Expertise in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and automated provisioning frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, and Networking.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestration, deployment, and platform management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages for automation and operational efficiency.
