Job summary

ManpowerGroup's Experis division is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to join our Irving, TX team on a hybrid basis (open to Charlotte, NC). The role focuses on building and scaling enterprise, cloud-native platforms with production‑grade code and robust automation.

You will work on scalable solutions that help development teams identify and remediate vulnerabilities early in the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Proficient in Java and/or Python with strong production code quality.
• Experience with additional languages such as Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, or C#.
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting applications in production.
• Experience integrating tools and systems via APIs and automation.

Platform Software Engineer

Location: Irving, TX - hybrid (open to Charlotte (NC) as well)

Pay Range: 75-80/hr W2

(due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)

Duration: 12+ month contract

We're seeking experienced, hands‑on engineers to help build and scale enterprise code for modern cloud‑native environments / platforms.

The ideal candidate is a builder who enjoys writing production‑quality code, solving complex engineering challenges, and creating scalable platforms that help development teams identify and remediate vulnerabilities early in the software development lifecycle.

This is not a traditional app dev role. We are looking for engineers with strong software development backgrounds who can build, automate, troubleshoot, and productionize solutions at scale with the development/engineering environment/platform.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience supporting production applications
• Strong programming experience in Java and/or Python
• Experience with at least one additional language such as Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, or C#
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting applications in production environments
• Experience integrating tools and systems through APIs and automation
• Cloud-native development experience
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Strong systems‑thinking and problem‑solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GCP and/or OpenShift
• Experience securing APIs and microservices
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and developer platforms
• Experience leveraging AI‑assisted development tools and validating AI-generated code
