Coalfire is hiring a Senior Google Cloud Security Consultant to lead architecture design, assessments, and security strategy for enterprise GCP engagements. You will translate business risk into scalable security programs, mentor teams, and drive cloud security modernization.

Required are 6 years in security consulting, 2+ years as a Google Cloud consultant, and strong experience with cloud-native security platforms and SIEM workflows. Remote work with travel is common.

Qualifications

• 6 years of security consulting experience spanning various domains.
• 2+ years directly working as a Google Cloud consultant.
• Hands-on leadership in cloud security projects across multiple teams.
• Experience with cloud-native security platforms and SIEM workflows.
• Familiarity with frameworks like FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, CMMC.

Responsibilities

• Lead Google Cloud architecture design and reviews across IAM, networking, data protection, and compliance.
• Advise on GCP security strategy aligned to business risk and regulatory requirements.
• Drive security posture assessments and remediation roadmaps.
• Mentor consultants and raise the Cloud Security practice capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership during client reviews and executive briefings.
• Develop repeatable methodologies and reference architectures.
