Job summary

McKesson Medical-Surgical seeks a senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise GCP platforms with IaC and GitOps. You will own security baselines for IAM, networking, and interconnects while enabling Apigee X and Oracle Exadata/JDE connectivity.

The role covers GKE, serverless, and FinOps responsibilities in a hybrid cloud environment. You will collaborate across security, networking, and ERP teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud operations,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT/infrastructure experience, with 4+ years on GCP
• Hands‑on experience provisioning Apigee X and integrated ERP interconnects
• Expert in Terraform, Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Production experience with GKE clusters and containerized apps
• Deep knowledge of GCP networking, VPCs, and security controls
• Proficiency in Python/Bash/Go for automation
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and resource right-sizing

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise GCP infrastructure using IaC and GitOps
• Own configuration and security baseline of GCP Organization structures, Projects, IAM roles
• Configure and maintain hybrid connectivity (Shared VPCs, Interconnect, VPN) for secure access
• Provision and maintain Apigee X runtime environments and API gateways
• Engineer and interconnect Oracle Exadata/JDE systems with GCP and Apigee
• Manage GKE clusters and serverless workloads (Cloud Run/Functions/App Engine)
• Build automated deployment pipelines for provisioning and cutovers
• Implement security baselines (mTLS, KMS, vulnerability scanning)
• Establish FinOps standards with tagging, budgets, and showback reporting
• Maintain centralized logging/monitoring with Cloud Operations Suite
