C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Gateway Agent (Air Export) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of time critical, temperature control and pharma cargo. You will serve as a key resource for operations and process excellence. You will drive operational efficiency in gateway operations, maintain compliance with company standards, and support the achievement of business objectives through consistent execution and collaboration. With the flexibility for remote work two days a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.The work schedule for this role is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific time on Mondays and Fridays and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday through Thursday, based on the candidate location. This role also requires flexibility to work every other Saturday, depending on business needs.Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Manage the international air shipment lifecycle, from purchase order issuance through final cargo deliveryPrepare, process, and assemble documentation for time-critical, temperature-controlled, and pharmaceutical air shipmentsEnsure shipment documentation is accurate, complete, and released to carriers, customers, and agents on timeExecute and coordinate shipments in accordance with customer requirements, standard operating procedures, and industry regulationsCreate, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring accurate data and a high level of shipment integrityApply industry expertise and critical thinking to resolve complex shipment challenges and minimize service disruptionsServe as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for internal teams, global offices, agents, and external vendorsProvide guidance on time-critical, temperature-controlled, and pharmaceutical shipment requirements, processes, and initiativesBuild collaborative relationships across the department, branch, and global network to support seamless shipment executionIdentify and recommend process and technology improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen service, and improve financial performanceRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of Global Forwarding industry experienceProvide evening and weekend coverage when required to support client and business operationsPreferred Qualifications:Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityKnowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International BusinessStrong prioritization, multi-tasking skills, and high level of flexibility as priorities and needs change dailyCritical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needsHigh level of attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environmentProactive, ambitious, hardworking, and analytical mindsetWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.Compensation Range$21.76 - $45.96The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
