Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions is seeking a senior Controls Engineer – Gas Turbine to lead development and support of gas turbine control systems. You will guide control logic development, tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization in collaboration with product engineering, field service and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Senior-level gas turbine controls experience required.
• Strong knowledge of control logic, sequencing, and safety systems.
• Proven ability to lead troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and enhancement of gas turbine control logic and sequences.
• Serve as senior technical SME for turbine controls to internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and root-cause analysis on control systems.
• Support upgrades, retrofits, and project validation of controls.
• Review P&IDs, logic diagrams, and system architecture drawings.
• Provide oversight during commissioning, tuning, and validation.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments for safety and reliability.
• Develop and maintain control specifications and test procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing and field teams.
• Provide customer and field support for control operation and optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to training programs.
