Job summary
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Gas System Planning Engineer III to support hybrid field operations across the Ohio/Pennsylvania/Delaware/Maryland/Virginia footprint. You will perform hydraulic modeling, develop facility requirements, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with operations, design, and permitting teams.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 7+ years of gas industry experience, and a PE preferred, with proficiency in Synergi Gas,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology required.
- 7+ years industry experience and/or training as evaluated by management.
- PE License preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering expertise on field operations projects, including material and equipment specifications.
- Direct oversight and management of pipeline and distribution system design day model and all associated requirements.
- Performs hydraulic modeling analysis on distribution and transmission pipelines as required.
- Support development of new projects and identify required facilities for business opportunities or customer requests.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and agency permitting as needed.
