Job summary

ExxonMobil Corporation seeks an analyst for the Global Trading Analytics team to develop GPCM-based models and analytical frameworks for North American natural gas markets. You will collaborate with traders, originators, and quant analysts to translate market fundamentals into actionable trading insights, using Python, SQL, and large data sources.

You will build and validate models for market balances, storage dynamics, and basis relationships, delivering forecast-driven guidance for portfolio

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in a quantitative field.
Hands-on experience with GPCM for NA natural gas market analysis and decision support.
Strong understanding of NA natural gas markets, storage dynamics, and basis relationships.
Experience building market balance models, forecasting frameworks, and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance GPCM-based models for NA natural gas market analysis and trading strategy.
Build regional market balance views across key North American markets.
Analyze pipeline constraints, flow dynamics, and basis market behavior to identify opportunities.
Deliver market forecasts and fundamental views to support trading and risk management.
Develop Python-based analytics frameworks, data pipelines, and modeling tools for scalable analysis.
Collaborate with traders, originators, structurers, and quant analysts to translate outputs into actionable insights.
